Brundaban Chandra College, Located at a distance of 12kms from district headquarter Jagatsinghpur towards north. The long felt need for establishing a college catering to the demands of the people of a rural area of Jagatsinghpur was fulfilled in 1987. Our institution took birth in the name of Lord Brundaban Chandra (Krishna) on 7th September 1987. The founding members and local peoples contributed for this institution as per their capacity during that period. This college initially started at nearest school campus of later is shifted to its own land. Our college got Govt. recognition for +2 Arts on 16th February 1989 and CHSE affiliation on 11th August 1989. +3 Arts stream started from 1990 which got Govt. recognition on 25th February, 1992 and affiliated to Utkal University on 17th March, 1992. +2 Science stream opened and got Govt. recognition on 7th January 2000. Both the streams of +2 got permanent recognition vide Letter No – 26080/09/07/2004 and permanent recognition for +3 vide Letter No – 23978/07/07/2004 followed by permanent affiliation for +3 vide Letter No – 16642/09/03/2005. +2 streams got CHSE permanent affiliation an vide Letter No – 5880/21/07/2006.

This college posses Stitiban land AC.6.45dec. area Khata No – 405/17, Mouza – Jagatsinghpur, RI Circle – Tarikund under Raghunathpur Tahasil in the district of Jagatsinghpur.
